I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were nicely warmed before my arrival, quiet, and offered beautiful views towards the mountains. However, they were very noisy due to thin walls. The service was friendly and reasonably helpful, although arranging tours through external companies was a nice touch. The location, with mountains on one side and the Beagle Channel on the other, is perfect, especially for those looking for a quiet area near the port. The dining options varied from terrible to quite good. Overall, it's a solid choice for visitors seeking a scenic retreat but with some room for improvement in certain areas.
